Authentic Italian Restaurant for Handmade Pasta and Wood-Fired Pizza
Prime Plater is an Italian restaurant built around three things done properly: fresh pasta rolled every morning, Neapolitan-style pizza blistered in a wood-fired oven, and sauces given the hours they deserve. Come for a quick lunch. Stay for a long dinner.

I — Benvenuti
“We would rather run out of a dish than serve it tired.”
Every plate at Prime Plater starts hours before you sit down. Dough is mixed the day before, pasta sheets are rolled after breakfast, and the ragù goes on the stove before lunch service so it can simmer slowly into something deep and glossy. Nothing is rushed, and nothing is reheated from a packet.
Our menu is short on purpose. It lets a small kitchen team cook each dish with full attention, using imported Italian staples where they matter — aged parmesan, Carnaroli rice, good olive oil — and fresh produce bought every day for everything else.
II — La Carta
An Italian meal has a rhythm — something to share, something comforting, something from the fire and something sweet. Our menu follows that rhythm, and every course is cooked from scratch.
Atto I
Burrata with blistered tomatoes, crisp arancini, beef carpaccio and grilled bread rubbed with garlic — small plates made for sharing while you decide on the rest.
Atto II
Tagliatelle, pappardelle, ravioli and gnocchi, shaped in our kitchen every morning and finished in the pan with the sauce — the way pasta is meant to be served.
Atto III
A 48-hour fermented dough, stretched by hand to order and baked in about ninety seconds for a soft, airy, leopard-spotted crust.
Atto IV
Tiramisu layered every afternoon, a softly set panna cotta, cannoli filled to order and an affogato that ends dinner on a high note.
III — Il Forno
Our oven burns hardwood and holds its floor at around 450°C. At that heat a pizza bakes in roughly a minute and a half: the crust puffs and chars in spots, the base stays thin and supple, and the tomato keeps its bright, fresh taste instead of stewing.
The dough is the real secret. We mix it with a small amount of yeast and let it rest for two full days, which builds flavour and makes every slice lighter and easier to digest.
